By May 28, 2013 Press Releases

TIGA, the organisation representing the games industry, has welcomedthe digital strategy guide publisher Gamer Guides as its latest member.

The company, which helps gamers get the very best out of a host of
video games, was founded in 2011 by UK entrepreneur Sebastian Hayes.

Prior to Gamer Guides Seb founded PSU.com, which was a PlayStation
news, reviews and community website as well as Playfire.com – a social network
for gamers – which was recently acquired by GreenMan Gaming.

Gamer Guides secured funding from SOSVentures in 2012 and 2013 and has
grown to three experienced full time staff members. They have published over 30
strategy guides to date, which are now available on the Gamer Guides website (www.GamerGuides.com).  Gamer Guides are also developing an iOS
application that allows their strategy guides to be purchased and viewed
offline.

Whilst currently focusing on licensing and
creating innovative strategy guides for independent and mid-sized developers/publishers,
Gamer Guides also hopes to work with larger games companies in the future.

Gamer Guides
founder & CEO Sebastian Hayes said:

“Gamer Guides is a leading publisher of
digital strategy guides for video games. This partnership will enable TIGA
members to further monetise their games by licensing a new generation of innovative
digital strategy guide products. We see this as a positive development for our
business and for TIGA members, and we are proud to be a part of the
organisation and to lend our support””.

Dr Richard Wilson, CEO of TIGA, said:

“We welcome Gamer Guides to the TIGA network and look
forward to helping them meet with game developers in the future.””
