TIGA also supports The Passage through our Games Education Awards by providing the charity with an opportunity to raise its profile in the video games industry. The Passage’s vision is of a society where street homelessness no longer exists and where everyone has a place to call home. Founded in 1980 by Cardinal Basil Hume and The Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul, The Passage is based in the heart of Westminster, providing practical support and a wide range of services to help transform the lives of people experiencing , or at risk of experiencing street homelessness.  The Passage are guided by Vincentian values and offer clients resources and solutions to prevent or end their homelessness for good, including routes to employment, benefits, and stable accommodation. The Passage runs a modern Resource Centre in Victoria, four residential and resettlement projects, outreach and health services, homelessness prevention schemes and a pioneering modern slavery referral programme.

Environmental Activities

TIGA aims to minimise the impact of its activities on the environment. We also seek to adhere to all relevant environmental laws and regulations.

TIGA operates a virtual business. All team members operate remotely, enabling the organisation to dispense with the need for physical premises. This enables TIGA to keep both its environmental impact and its business costs relatively low.

TIGA operates cloud computing to store and share our data between staff, replacing the need for a designated server thus reducing our carbon footprint and electricity consumption. This also serves to reduce our paper usage by maintaining a paperless workflow amongst staff.
