TIGA welcomes Einfo Games as its latest member

By October 15, 2012 Press Releases

TIGA, the trade association representing the UK gamesindustry, welcomes Einfo Games as its latest member.

The online video games news and review site aims to build a
bridge between the games industry, the public and new starting developers. Aiming
to be more than part of the press, it is currently working on networking events
based in Manchester to create more opportunity and projects in the city. The name ‘Einfo’ was created in late 2010 through blog and
video updates but it went on to expand into an official business and news site
In June 2012.

Its first press event was GamesCom 2012 and it attended
Eurogamer for a second time – its first as professional media. The first networking event starts on November 3 in
Manchester.

Founder Mark Taylor said:
“We wish to work with TIGA to raise our profile within
the development and publishing arena. The vast majority or our work is created
by recommendation which is excellent. However we wish to increase our visibility,
to inform potential clients of our services and our point of difference  – the majority of our team is made up of
passionate gamers.”

Dr Richard Wilson said:
“TIGA welcomes companies which aim to raise awareness
of the videogame sector and break down barriers between developers and the
public. Einfo Games is helping budding writers gain experience in games journalism
and it is also keeping the news wheels turning. We welcome them to TIGA.”
