The TIGA Games Industry Awards celebrate the people and organisations leading the UK games sector with creativity, purpose, and innovation.
As we look ahead to the 2025 ceremony – taking place on November 4th at London’s prestigious Hurlingham Club – we’re reflecting on some of 2024’s most inspiring winners. Their words offer a powerful reminder of why these awards matter. Nominations are open now – entries close July 25th! Enter the awards here.
These accolades don’t just acknowledge success – they elevate it. Just hear from some of 2024’s exceptional winners:
Christopher Headleand, from Staffordshire University, winner of Best Education Institution, expressed how meaningful the recognition is:
“Winning best education institution means the world to us. To be recognised by TIGA this way is a humbling honour. TIGA do exceptional work on behalf of the UK games industry, and we are proud to be part of that legacy.”
AJ Grand-Scrutton of Dlala Studios reflected on the company’s second consecutive win as Best Small Studio with pride and humour:
“To win Best Small Studio means the world to us. As important as our games are, it’s the people, and the studio, that matter the most, and to have that recognition as a business is incredible. After the honour of winning it two years in a row, we’re now treating it like a WWE title reign and counting it in days! 398 and counting!”
For Slitherine Software, the award marked a milestone of visibility and validation. Marco Minoli shared:
“Winning a TIGA Award signifies recognition as a key contributor to the growth of the UK games industry. It not only highlights the achievements of our company and product but also enhances our visibility among peers in the market. Few honours command as much corporate prestige as receiving such a distinguished award.”
And Room 8 Group, winner of the Commitment to ESG Award, highlighted the deeper purpose behind the company’s work. Anastasiia Fed-Titova said: “We won the Commitment to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) award and this recognition means the world to us and reflects the impact of our efforts on a global scale. As a company we are committed to delivering a positive impact on the community through our diverse charity initiatives. And it’s a powerful reminder that when we align our values with action, we can make a real difference. A heartfelt thank you to the TIGA for this acknowledgment!”
Each of these winners demonstrates how TIGA awards aren’t just trophies on the shelf – they are career milestones, company-defining moments, and heartfelt affirmations of purpose and passion.
