TIGA welcomes Born Ready Games as latest member

By October 11, 2012 Press Releases

TIGA, the trade association representing the UK gamesindustry, has welcomed Born Ready Games as its latest member.

The independent games developer from Guildford has years of
cumulative experience in the industry, having worked with all manner of
consoles, licenses and publishers.  Now fully independent, It has a very grand and ambitious
future ahead of it. Before the formation of the new studio in June, the team had
shipped All Zombies Must Die!, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Special
Editions, Let’s Go South Park Tower Defense and Burn Zombie Burn.

The company is currently hard at work on Strike Suit Zero, a title it is hoping
will revive the ailing space combat genre. The game is due out on January 24.
It has enlisted the services of Junji Okubo (Steel Battalion, Infinite
Space, Appleseed) to design the
mechs and Paul Ruskay (Homeworld) to
produce an original score.

Samantha Sinclair, Born Ready Games co-founder, said:
“TIGA is important for the UK games industry and we
feel it important to support TIGA. TIGA is supporting us and many others in the
UK through its activities, discounts, promotion and more. “We hope that TIGA will grow as we do and help promote
the games industry and companies like us so that we can all get the recognition
as being the great and large revenue generating industry that it is.”

Dr Richard Wilson, CEO of TIGA, said:
“The wealth of experience at Born Ready Games gives
this fledgling company a great base on which to build in the years to come. It
is great that they have joined TIGA and I hope that they take advantage of the
many benefits membership has to offer.”
