By May 1, 2013 Press Releases

TIGA, the organisation representing the games industry, is delightedto welcome Atomhawk as its latest member and welcomes the launch of its new
Kickstarter project.

Atomhawk is a leading art and design studio providing creative
services to game, film and digital media.

It was was founded in 2009 by four ex-Midway developers. Since then
the team has since grown to 20 people and it includes some of the industry's
best artists and designers. It has worked on more than 20 projects including
games such as Mortal Kombat, Driver, Dead Island, Devil May Cry, Enslaved and
most recently Injustice for Warner Bros.

It has also worked on J.K Rowling's online Harry Potter experience
“Pottermore” for the past three years and it has provided concept art
for a number of blockbuster Hollywood movies.

Its new co-development venture, The Realm, is currently running on
Kickstarter. Atomhawk, which is working with Lantern Interactive, has  designed an entire universe, branding,
marketing art, trailer and pitch video which pretty much used all of the
studio's different skills.

Atomhawk co-founder Cumron Ashtiani said:

“We joined TIGA to help support our industry and give a little back in the
form of our membership and skills. TIGA has done so much for the UK games
scene, especially fighting the tax break fight when some of us thought all was
lost. Also their continued voice in government is a much needed outlet to make
sure we are all heard”

Dr Richard Wilson, CEO of TIGA, said:

“Cumron Ashtiani tells us that once you have been
involved in making a great game, it is hard to get that thrill out of your
system. It is wonderful to see Atomhawk making an impact in the gaming
industry, providing exceptional art and design skill. We warmly welcome
Atomhawk as TIGA members.”
