TIGA Offers Grants to Attend Game Connection Europe

TIGA, in partnership with the UK Trade and Investment Tradeshow Access Programme, is offering grants of £1000 for eligible businesses to attend Game Connection Europe. Game Connection Europe will take place from 8-10 December 2009 in Lyon.

The grant is open to developers, distributers and service providers, such as outsourcing companies, middleware suppliers and legal services.

In addition, Game Connection is currently offering TIGA members a 10% discount on registration for the event. Again this is open to relevant developers and distributors seeking to promote games and expertise, and to service or technology providers showcasing solutions and skills (middleware, outsourcing, audio, etc.). Furthermore Game Connection is offering new developers the chance to exhibit for free.

Richard Wilson, TIGA CEO stated: “TIGA is determined to help games businesses improve their opportunities for growth, profitability and expansion. As an accredited trade organisation, TIGA works with UKT&I’s Tradeshow Access Programme in supporting UK businesses looking to exhibit at overseas trade shows. I hope that many UK games businesses will be able to attend Game Connection with our support”.
