TIGA Launches New Investor Introduction Service

By February 11, 2015 Press Releases

TIGA, the network for game developers and digital publishers, and trade association representing the UK videogame industry, today announced the launch of its new Investor Introduction Service.

The TIGA Investor Introduction Service, which will be exclusive to members, enables games and technology businesses to submit investment pitches to TIGA’s network of specialist investors up to once per month. Successful investment pitches will be followed by direct meetings with investors.

Anyone interested in the service is asked to please contact Vanessa Joyce, TIGA Business Development Director, via vanessa@tiga.org or 07815 780182.

TIGA’s new service is part of its strategy, as outlined in its 2015 Manifesto, to power up small firms, drive consistent increases in employment and investment, and make access to finance less of a challenge for developers and digital publishers.

The Investor Introduction Service follows last year’s publication of TIGA’s free, comprehensive guide to the sources of finance available to UK games businesses, available here.

Game developers and digital publishers interested in finding out more can also attend TIGA’s upcoming International Access to Finance Forum on 20th February at the Dolby Theatre in Soho, London, where they will be able to hear from and speak with specialist videogame investors and funding experts.

This event is designed to be affordable for businesses large and small, with tickets for non-TIGA members at just £49. You can find out more and register here.

To find out more about sponsorship opportunities at the event, please also contact Vanessa Joyce, TIGA Business Development Director, via vanessa@tiga.org or 07815 780182.

Dr Richard Wilson, TIGA CEO, said:

“Access to finance is the number one challenge facing games businesses. TIGA’s Investor Introduction Service will increase the opportunities for TIGA members to meet, pitch and raise finance from our pool of investors and will be a valuable addition in our efforts to drive consistent increases in videogame investment and strengthen the industry in the UK.”
