TIGA, the network for video games developers and digital publishers and the trade association representing the video games industry, has today announced that it will be joining forces with Amazon Appstore to create a Developer Day event for the gaming community on Monday 20th June.
This free, half day, Developer event will be held at Amazon’s London offices and will focus specifically on Mobile Games Development. The event aims to bring the mobile gaming community up to speed on the latest technology and developments and to bring together like-minded people.
Amazon Appstore technology experts and evangelists will provide unique insights on mobile development strategies on Android and HTML5, on new exciting monetisation opportunities and on best practices for user acquisition and retention.
Guests will also hear from developers currently on the Amazon Appstore platform and also be given the chance to network with fellow mobile developers and enthusiasts, meet and engage directly with the Amazon Appstore team and try the lineup of Amazon devices, including Fire Tablets and Fire TV.
Talks throughout the day include “Going Native on Fire TV: Building a Game with Android Studio and the NDK” plus “Games on Amazon Underground: How to Monetise 100% of Your Users”
