The market engagement for the next cohort of UK Year of Service has begun and National Citizen Service (NCS) Trust are inviting organisations to register their interest for the online market engagement events.
NCS will be awarding grants to private sector organisations, as well as public and third sector organisations for this next UK Year of Service cohort.
The UK Year of Service programme is a unique opportunity that places 18 – 24 year olds into socially beneficial job roles, connecting them to paid work that pays back, and providing wraparound support that advances their ability to find sustainable next steps into employment, further education or training.
Partners will design and deliver placements for young people who are furthest from the labour market, with a particular focus on young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).
For the next cohort, placements will be across the North West, North East and Yorkshire & Humber.
DCMS are inviting organisations who may be interested in applying for a grant to attend an online Market Engagement event on the relevant dates:
- 5 December at 2pm for public sector & third sector organisations
- 6 December at 10am for private sector organisations
To register for the market engagement events, organisations can complete this booking form.
