Meet the TIGA Awards 2025 Charity Partner: SpecialEffect

We are delighted to once again announce SpecialEffect as the Charity Partner for the TIGA Games Industry Awards 2025, continuing a long association between our two organisations.

The inspirational SpecialEffect transforms the lives of physically disabled people right across the world through the innovative use of technology.

At the heart of organisation’s work is its mission to maximise fun and quality of life by helping people control video games to the best of their abilities, but that’s just the start.

Nominations

The Awards are currently open for submissions, closing on Friday July 25th. As a reminder, the TIGA Games Industry Awards are divided into two groups: the ‘Games Awards’, which are open to the entire industry, and the ‘Business Of Games Awards’, which are reserved for TIGA members.

There are also three special Awards: ‘Outstanding Employer 2025’ and ‘Outstanding Individual Of The Year’, which are chosen by TIGA; and ‘Game Of The Year’, which will once again be judged by attendees of the awards ceremony.
