ALPHA CRC joins TIGA

TIGA, the trade association representing the UK games industry, today
announced ALPHA CRC as their
newest member.

 

Founded in 1987 ALPHA CRC are an end to end games globalization company
which provides localization/translation/audio visual services/QA/testing for
games publishers of all types and for all platforms. They have completed the
localization on over 2000 titles and work with 12 of the top 20 games
publishers.

 

One of the best Globalization companies in the world – and now in their
25th year- Alpha CRC is privately owned and they are passionate about their
GL10N service role. Alpha specializes in Globalization for Games and Media,
together with other digital and rich/multimedia products. Alpha also offers a
range of specialist testing services for Platform, Mobile and Games products.

They work with around 2400 associate translators in 68 countries. The company
has 380 full time employees – 18 offices and production in 14 countries.

 

Services include globalization, localization, translation, functional
and linguistic QA, Machine Translation services, Crowd Sourced translation,
testing, software engineering, DTP, audio, rich media, project management and
specialist globalization consultancy

 

Paul Mangell, international sales director of ALPHA CRC, explains the
reason why he decided to join TIGA:
