Record-breaking, sold-out event sees 10,500 public votes cast for TIGA Game of The Year Award, sponsored by Edge, won by Hungry Shark Evolution, by Future Games Of London
TIGA, the trade association representing the UK video game Industry has announced the full list of winners for the 2013 TIGA Awards, after a glittering ceremony held on the evening of November 6th at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, to celebrate excellence in the games industry.
The public vote for the TIGA Game of the Year Award, sponsored by Edge, smashed the previous record of 2,000 votes in 2012, with more than 10,500 votes cast in 2013, demonstrating the TIGA Awards, which represent the whole industry, has captured the public’s imagination too.
Thanks to the support of TIGA members and key sponsors including ARM, Train2Game, BlackBerry, NDreams, Centroid, Lockwood Publishing, Universally Speaking, Creative England and The University of Bedfordshire, the TIGA Awards have gone from strength to strength. Tickets for the 2013 event were also completely sold out, reflecting the increased number of terrific entries and generous sponsors.
