Two Way Media joins TIGA

By October 25, 2011 Press Releases

TIGA, the Trade Association representing the UK games
industry, today announced Two Way Media as its newest member.

Founded as an interactive TV business, Two Way Media now releases
casual and social games across multiple platforms.  Dividing its time between TV branded games
such as Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? and its own IPs such as Sting’Em
in.

The company publishes a variety of
games across the web, mobile and internet connected TVs.

Recent successes include GemWords on Facebook, Family
Fortunes on TV, and Suzi Perry’s Heli-Golf on the web.

More products are in the pipeline, including
an innovative card game for the Kindle and a TV branded iOS game.  The company also runs its own games channel
and has published games on IPTV networks around the world.  This multi-platform approach is one of the
reasons that the company has joined TIGA.

ames Turner, CEO, explains:

“Although
Two Way Media is well known in the television industry we are keen to raise our
profile and build relationships with the wider games community; joining TIGA is very much a part of that plan.  Furthermore, as a developer and publisher
it’s immensely helpful to have access to a pool of industry professionals from
a knowledge sharing perspective and we hope that in turn, Two Way Media will be
on the list of people to call when a brand is thinking about online
exploitation.”

Dr
Richard Wilson, TIGA CEO stated:

“James
and his team have a vast amount of experience in the industry and are well placed
to capitalise on the opportunities that exist for companies looking to broaden
their distribution and reach new audiences.
At TIGA we are committed to
helping our members navigate any challenges they may face along the way by
offering access to expert consultancy, events and best practice sharing.  In this way we hope to support Two Way Media
wherever possible and are delighted to welcome them as members.”
