TIGA welcomes Global Empire Soft as its latest member

TIGA, the trade association representing the UK gamesindustry, has welcomed Global Empire Soft as its latest member. 

Global Empire Soft is an indie game and mobile apps
developer which also creates gamification apps for SMEs. It is a publishing
platform for mobile apps too. The company’s aim is to invent exciting and creative mobile
Apps and games and current titles include the platformer Man Alive and AVA –
Action arcade Simulator. It also participated in the Global Games Jam 2012, which
made it to the Guinness Book of World Records The company is also proud that it came in second place at
the Games Jam with its title, The Real
Pride of London. 

Richard Hoffmann, CEO Global Empire Soft, said: 

“I have been playing games for over 30 years now and
love to create fresh and exiting games. For many years I am working on video
games and mobile Apps together with my friends. At the moment we are working on
the title Man Alive and we believe
that this is a cool and very different type of platform game as we know
it.” 

Mr Hoffman says he began playing games on the Commodore C16,
C64 and Amiga 500. His first PC was a 386 with 25 Mhz and 10 MB Hard drive. He
has also played games on most consoles from Super Famicon/NES to Nintendo 64
PS1 and many more since.
