TIGA welcomes Facepunch Studios as its latest member

TIGA, the trade association representing the UKgames industry, is delighted to welcome Facepunch Studios as its latest member. 

Facepunch Studios is an indie video game developer
which makes games for Windows, Mac and Linux. 

Its main product is Garry’s Mod, available on Steam.
Produced by Garry Newman for Valve's Half-Life 2 back in 2004, it grew in
popularity and became a standalone product in 2006.  

Mr Newman founded Facepunch Studios in 2009 on the
back of the unprecedented success of Garry’s Mod and to this day it are
constantly listening to the community and updating GMod with the most requested
features. As of December 2012, it has had more than two
million sales of Garry’s Mod. Today, it is working on a variety of new projects
and is actively looking for programmers and artists to work for it at its new
offices in Walsall, West Midlands. 

Craig Gwilt, director of Facepunch, said:
