TIGA CEO Dr Richard Wilson this week had an excellent meeting with Matt Western MP about the challenges and opportunities facing the UK video games sector.
They discussed the importance of VGEC, prototype funding and vocational qualifications including BTECs.
In 2024, Matt was appointed to the Business and Trade Select Committee on which he serves as Vice-Chair. He also Chairs the Joint Committee for National Security Strategy.
He Chairs the All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPG) for Electric Vehicles, Canada and Motor and sits on the APPG for International Students, Semi-conductors and Video Games and E-sports.
