The Government announces a new support service to help apprentices who have lost their job due to COVID-19

On 1 August 2020, the Government launched a new telephone and online support service designed to help apprentices who have lost their job due to COVID-19.

The Redundancy Support Service for Apprentices (ReSSA) is designed to ensure that apprentices can access local and national services to receive support, and to help them find a job should they need it. The service will also allow apprentices to search and apply for other available apprenticeship opportunities across the country.
