-Train2Game and TIGA to host interactive session-

Train2Game is joining forces with TIGA this Tuesday, 11th January, at Learning Without Frontiers: The International Festival of Learning & Technology 2011, to host an interactive discussion exploring how the games industry and education sector can work more closely to better understand each other.

The session, entitled The Game of Games, will take place from 1.15pm at The Brewery (Chiswell Street, London EC1Y 4SD) and will include a panel discussion focusing on the importance of building such relationships to the future of the UK games industry, as well as offering practical advice and learnings from key players in each sector.

The panel will consist of:
• Richard Wilson, CEO, TIGA
• Tony Bickley, Course Director, Train2Game
• Martin Oliver, Producer, Ubisoft
• Joe Cavalla, Research & Knowledge Transfer Business Manager, University of Portsmouth

TIGA’s Richard Wilson commented: “The session will provide an opportunity for the games industry and interested parties from the education sector to meet and discuss how they might work more closely to gain a better understanding of each others’ worlds.””

Tony Bickley of Train2Game added: “We’re looking forward to being involved in the panel discussion and hope it will provide a topical forum to address skills issues and how to keep creative talent in the UK.””
