Stick Sports joins TIGA

TIGA,the trade association representing the UK games industry, today announced Stick
Sports
as its newest member. Stick
Sports provide interactive, online, free to play sports games.

Started in 2004 Stick
Sports is an Anglo Australian company with offices in London and Sydney. The company’s immensely popular games include
Stick Football, Stick Tennis and Stick
Baseball
. However their biggest title is their global hit Stick Cricket.

Stick Cricket is the world’s most popular online cricket
game offering a series of free-to-play batting games. With approximately two million unique
visitors every month the game has been played by over 85 million people.

Stick Sports have
recently launched a brand new Cricket World Cup game for iPad, iPhone and iPod
Touch which is now bundled with the upgrade for the Stick Cricket App on the Apple App Store. Within weeks the new game has hit number one
in all the major cricketing nations and was selected by The Sunday Times as one
of the top 500 apps in the world. The
game boasts lots of additional features including 14 new levels of World
Domination and the option to challenge any user to a head-to-head via Bluetooth
or local WiFi network.
