TIGA today announced South Essex College as its newest member. South Essex College offers a range of courses in games development at its Southend, Basildon and Thurrock campuses. The courses range from BTEC to Diploma level and are aimed at students looking to enter the games industry directly, or further their studies in a games specialty. The College also offers a BSc (hons) in Computer Games Design.
Faisal Mustafa, course coordinator stated:
“The vision for South Essex College of Further and Higher Education is an ambitious one. We aim to provide outstanding education and skills training. That’s across our campuses in Thurrock, Basildon and Southend and from entry level to full honours degrees for young people and adults in order to better meet the learning and skills needs of local people, employers and communities.””
