Creative Assembly is pleased to announce a partnership with Into Games, a non-profit organisation that supports people in finding rewarding careers in the games industry.
This partnership will see Into Games and Creative Assembly further reach a UK nationwide network of educators and young people, hosting educational projects and initiatives that help connect the dots for careers seekers underrepresented in the industry.
Into Games’ Head of Engagement and Development added this on the announcement of our new partnership:
“Creative Assembly’s Legacy Project has long been an inspiration for us at Into Games, and a guiding star for how we would like to see the UK games industry approach education. Their work has informed much of our own, so it’s an absolute honour to in turn see our work recognised by them. We’re extremely proud to be working alongside Creative Assembly and their CSR team – both Joanna Green and Emma Smith are deeply passionate about making our industry a brighter and better place – and we can’t wait to get started helping them in that mission.”
Emma Smith, Head of Talent from Creative Assembly added this about the forging of our partnership:
‘Our partnership with Into Games is a fantastic opportunity for Creative Assembly’s Legacy Project. Our missions align so closely that by combining forces we will be able to make a greater impact: supporting more teachers, parents as well as students, to improve understanding of the games industry and see those students armed with the right skills for the future.’
Creative Assembly and Into Games will also collaborate throughout the year to bring their combined knowledge of the games sector to parents, carers and guardians across the UK – to encourage them to support young people to pursue their dreams of a career in the games industry.
