Can anyone advise a UK based Syrian refugee MA student building a game based charity fundraising platform?

‘Escaping War’ is an innovative charity fundraising platform, in a survival game style, based on the experiences of real people in the Syrian conflict. The game has three phases; the war zone in Syria, the refugees’ journey to safety and concludes with a video from the featured character safe in Europe.

The project’s objective is to enable people to understand and become involved in making a difference for Syrians who are still in Syria under constant bombardment by raising awareness of their suffering, what they have to go through and explaining their reasons for choosing Europe as their new home.

During the game players have the option to buy items, using real money, which will be donated to charities who will provide better conditions for the characters in the game.

The project lead is Nasma, a remarkable young woman who is herself a refugee from Syria and now an MA student at the University of Westminster.

Nasma has asked TIGA if we can help her to understand the financial part of the project, unfortunately time is short as the deadline is 7th April.

If you are able to help or you would like to know more please contact Nasma Aljizawi by emailing her: w1669513@my.westminster.ac.uk
