On 12 October 2020, the Business Secretary, Rt Hon Alok Sharma MP, wrote to over 600,000 businesses urging them to prepare for the end of the transition period. Alok Sharma’s urgent message to businesses can be read in full here.
In his letter, the Business Secretary called on businesses to familiarise themselves with the actions they will need to take, by visiting gov.uk/transition and using the checker tool.
The Government are also due to host a range of webinars to help businesses get ready, with sector-specific webinars to cover areas such as visas, work permits and tariffs.
