In the sixth instalment of our TIGA Awards 2021 winners interview series, we spoke to PTW COO Sijo Jose (pictured, right) about what it meant to pick up the Best QA and Localisation Provider and Best Audio Services Supplier awards, the need to recognise excellence across the games industry, inspiring peers and what we’ll all be talking about in 2025…
What did it mean to you/your company to win a TIGA Award?
We were over the moon to have been awarded last year’s ‘Best QA and Localisation Provider’ as well as ‘Best Audio Services Supplier’ for our team at SIDE. It’s such a joy for our teams to be recognised for all the hard work they do behind the scenes.
Why is it important that excellence in game development/services/education is recognised via awards like this?
It’s always great to see talent within the industry celebrated by those who live and breathe all things video games.
Who are the peers in games and beyond who inspire you?
We’re always inspired by our partners and the players we support.
Outside of winning a TIGA Award, what have been your greatest achievements to date?
Expanding our SIDE LA studio, being recognised by similar Awards ceremonies and delivering on some fantastic games projects this year!
In 2025 we’ll all be talking about…?
