Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to grow and manage the community around Antstream. You will be the conduit between our service and our fans.

Other responsibilities will include:

Attracting new gamers through social channels and our website.
Building the community through social channels pre and post launch and help create community-generated content, community discussions and sign ups.
Become a personality for our company across social media and video channels, including Twitch and YouTube. This will involve recording news segments around our service, filming interviews with superstar developers and attending and capturing gaming events around the world.
Work with external content creators to deliver additional content to our channels.
Keeping the community informed of new game drops, feature updates and asking for feedback.
Collating community feedback and reporting it back to our development team.
Finding ways to engage with our users, and helping to build a great relationship with them.
Creating competitions and community events to draw people into the Antstream service.
Reaching out to fan communities (Cosplay, fanart etc.) and creating cross-promotional opportunities.

Requirements

3+ Years Community Management experience with the Games industry

Our client is looking to add to its family of staff on a 2 year contract. We are looking for an exceptionally talented Senior Animator who is ready for the challenge of producing an AAA title on the next generation platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To create and develop industry leading gameplay animations and animations that support the narrative of the game.
To support motion capture processes from rehearsals to final performance.
Have a proactive working relationship with the Animation Director and Animation Lead to ensure assets and direction are consistent and hits the expected quality goals.
Work closely with the Animation Team to ensure animation quality is consistent throughout the project long iterative processes.
Work with the Animation team and others to ensure pipelines and tools developed are to the needs of the whole department.
Showcase experience, quality and strong decision making skills for what makes excellent gaming assets.
Be a solid example for non-Seniors to follow suit.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Excellent knowledge of 3DS max and/or Maya.
Experienced knowledge of Motion Builder advantageous.
Experienced knowledge of the Unreal Engine or similar game engine/s.
A strong understanding of the Motion Capture process is advantageous, but not essential.
Knowledge of editing software (Premiere/After Effects) is advantageous, but not essential.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Excellent understanding of classic animation principles.
Excellent quality level for producing high quality animation assets.
Strong Keyframe Animation skills.
Experienced knowledge and understanding of producing in-game animation assets.
Strong self-management skills and to be able to bring animation assets in on desired timeframes, at the expected quality levels.
Visual story telling skills, beneficial.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
To be pro-active in problem solving and have a great level of independence.
Able to work exceptional well within a team: willingness to give and receive feedback, and the ability to embrace change; ability to collaborate productively with others.

Our client develops and publishes games for smartphones and tablets, their games have been downloaded more than 500M times. 
 
They operate worldwide on a F2P model, via the acquisition, retention and monetization of a sustainable player base whilst insuring their satisfaction, fun and engagement with the virtual worlds we have built for them to share with their friends. 
 
The Live Operations Designer will bring prior experience of operating commercially successful, large-scale mobile “free to play” games.

Reporting to the Studio Creative Director, you will optimise the live operations of our games, working with personnel across analytics, game design, production, QA, marketing, business and customer service teams, driven by business objectives in a fast moving environment. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:  
Collaborate with the design team to define, apply and optimize monetization mechanics;
Oversee the planning and execution of live events, sales, promotional offers and related ingame communication;
Monitor retention curves, user reviews and community feedback to quickly spot and act on issues in game updates across multiple platforms;
Regularly review key performance indicators and sales trends within our online games;
Develop and test hypotheses with the analytics dept. to maximize lifetime ARPU of our customers throughout the world;
Define target ARM metrics and optimize the performance of live actions against those targets;
Analyse results and communicate key takeaways to the team and studio management;
Benchmark and analyse monetization strategies of competitive games;
Implement best practice monetization strategies for mobile F2P games;
 
YOU:
Minimum 2 years of experience in monetization design and/or live operations strategy for  mobile F2P and online games.
An excellent understanding of acquisition, retention, monetization & customer service. 

SKILLS: 
Strong verbal and email communication skills.
Truly collaborative working style is a must.  
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organized, problem solving personality.
Self-starter, able to identify obstacles and work through solutions.
Excellent analytical thinking skills, including both the science (e.g., modelling) and the art (e.g., be curious about the business, form and test innovative hypotheses).
Must be able to effectively communicate risks and obstacles both to managed team members, as well as to senior management.
Strong industry understanding and knowledge
Knowledge of mobile games from a player's standpoint is a plus.
