By May 10, 2012 TIGA News

Luciana Berger MP, said: "TIGA has consistently campaigned for a tax break for games production. Over the last three years TIGA has managed to convinced two governments to support Games Tax Relief: the last Labour Government in March 2010 and the Coalition Government in March 2012. I am pleased to have worked with TIGA to win this tax credit for the UK games industry, not least through the All Party Group on the Computer and Video Games Industry in Parliament which I am the Vice Chair. TIGA played a key role in winning this tax break for the UK games industry. I hope that this tax measure will help to boost high skilled employment in my constituency and indeed throughout the UK.”
