It will put students in touch with developers and studio bosses and allow them to showcase their portfolio and skills.

Students get:

  • The facility to add and update a portfolio that will appear on the TIGA website including CV
  • Access to a TIGA careers guide
  • Access to a selection of TIGA reports

Oli Christie, CEO of Neon Play, said: “If you're a student looking to get into the games industry, this bumper-filled package is a no-brainer.

“Getting into the industry is very tricky so you need to use every tool necessary to help you on the way. Learning and having access to key people is vital, so I would encourage every games student to do this. If they don't, quite frankly they're a bit silly.”

Jacqueline Cawston, programmes Director of the Serious Games Institute added: “We welcome any initiative that helps students build contacts in the games industry and develop their profile.

“We know this is a highly competitive market and offers like this give our students an edge.”
