Following the outcome of the UK General Election on June 8th 2017, Dr Richard Wilson, TIGA CEO, said:
“Now that the General Election is over, TIGA will focus on ensuring that the new government and parliament creates the best possible environment for the UK video games industry as Brexit negotiations begin and we start the process of leaving the EU.
“TIGA will concentrate in particular on: ensuring that the new Government retains and potentially enhances Games Tax Relief; improves access to finance, for example, by introducing a Games Investment Fund; and enables UK studios to access highly skilled people from the EU and beyond.”
