Jacqueline Cawston, Programmes Director of The Serious Games
Institute explains the reason why she decided to join TIGA:

“We wanted to join TIGA to work with developers and commissioners
to increase the performance of the games industry in the UK. It is vital that
we can provide a united force to promote the industry to growing competition
and build upon our innovation and excellence in serious games. We will bring to
TIGA our experience and research excellence. We can also provide access to
global markets and industry giants.”

Dr. Richard Wilson, TIGA CEO welcomed the organisation to TIGA:

“Gaming can provide very wide-reaching applications aside from the
fun, consumer aspects for which it is best known. Being able to demonstrate the
wealth of opportunity for developers within the gaming sectors is of utmost
importance to us and so we wholeheartedly welcome The Serious Games Institute
as a member of TIGA.”
