On 17 February 2021, John Penrose MP, backed TIGA’s calls to boost competition across the UK economy.
In a tweet published at 8:45pm, Penrose stated that he was ‘particularly proud’ to see that TIGA and the video games industry agree that stronger competition is needed. The tweet included a link to TIGA’s recent statement on the topic.
TIGA believes that the UK Government should adopt a more robust approach to foster healthy competition in the UK.
The tweet comes after the release of Penrose’s recent independent review of competition policy in the UK, Power to the People.
