GDC Play 2012 Extends Schedule

Because of the impressive amount of support and participation at GDC Play, as
well as the growing list of confirmations from publishers, distributors,
investors, agents and other meeting decision makers, many current and potential
GDC Play exhibitors told us they would like to see our meeting hours extended.
We've listened to that feedback and GDC Play has announced that it has extended
its schedule to three days.  That represents a 50% increase in value to
our participants.

GDC Play's new schedule is:

Tuesday 10am-6pm
Wednesday 10am-6pm
Thursday 10am-6pm

s
of early January, GDC Play has confirmations from over 50 organizations that
will send high-level decision makers to be available for meetings with
participants.  Plus, GDC 2012 already has commitments from more than 250
media outlets that will send members of the press to the event.  We expect
close to 1,000 members of the press will be at GDC 2012, and invitations to the
GDC Play VIP Reception will be sent to these qualified media professionals.

Game developers have overwhelmingly embraced GDC Play.  GDC 2012 officials
report that GDC Play is selling out.  Meeting rooms already sold-out and
organizers were forced to revise the GDC Play floor plan to include additional
meeting rooms.  Indie developers from around the world, as well as
government and trade association groups from Canada, Australia and the UK have
committed to GDC Play 2012.

GDC’s business matchmaking application gives you access not only to GDC Play
publishers/decision-makers, but to any registered exhibitor at GDC 2012 – even
those on our main exhibit floor.

All exhibitors are required to register for
the matchmaking app in order to be listed online and in our program guide. So,
you’ll have access to over 300 prospects including those in our many country
pavilions.
Kiosks and meeting rooms are still available to Tiga.org members at 15% off the
prevailing rate.
