ERA releases data on entertainment choices during lockdown

On 14 August 2020, the Entertainment Retailers Association (ERA) published research on the sales of subscriptions to video, music, and games services.  The figures show that Disney+ was the top performer, with 10.5 per cent of respondents saying they had subscribed to the service during lockdown.

78.6 per cent of those who had purchased an Xbox Live subscription said they were likely or very likely to maintain their subscription once lockdown ends.  Only 7.1 per cent said they were unlikely or very unlikely to maintain their subscription to Xbox Live once lockdown ends.

FIFA 2020 was the highest ranked video game in the ERA Entertainment Chart 2020 – Lockdown Edition.  FIFA 2020 was ranked third overall, with a total of 506,783 unit sales.
