TIGA is keen to speak with members about how adult-only services can effectively prevent children’s data being processed.
As you may be aware, the first anniversary of the Children’s code being in full force came about recently on Friday 2 September. TIGA is working with the ICO to look at how adult-only services can effectively prevent children’s data being processed.
TIGA and the ICO want to learn what you are doing to protect children and if there is further guidance or engagement the ICO can provide to support this. We are keen to know if you would be interested in participating in a discussion on this, particularly if you have terms of service that require users to be 18+.
