The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has published an open letter for businesses and individuals who work in the creative industries.
The letter highlights:
- why the sector needs to take competition law seriously by drawing attention to a recent case where the CMA fined 5 businesses and a trade association over £1.5 million for breaking competition law
- steps businesses can take to help ensure they comply with competition law
