In the first State Opening of Parliament under the new Labour Government, The King’s Speech unveiled 40 bills and draft bills (Wednesday 17th July 2024).
The Government has highlighted 10 key points from its programme of legislation, covering building, economic growth, employment rights, transport, energy, policing and more. Read more here.
Bills include the National Wealth Fund Bill, the Skills England Bill and the Employment Rights Bill.
