Technology Strategy Board is carrying out a survey on networks, networking and indirectly KTNs.

The
Technology Strategy Board, the UK’s innovation agency, is all about driving
innovation to help UK businesses grow. Our role is to stimulate
technology-enabled innovation in the areas which offer the greatest scope for
boosting UK growth and productivity.

We promote, support and invest in
technology research, development and commercialisation. We spread knowledge,
bringing people together to solve problems or make new advances. We have long
recognised the value of helping business access the latest knowledge on markets
and technologies, find supply chain partners, and facilitate routes to funding
to stimulate UK business innovation. We have invested in Knowledge Transfer
Networks for this purpose since our inception in 2007.

But we
also recognise that the pace of technological change is rapid and that the way
people find information and connections looks different from that in 2007. We
want to deploy our resources where it will make the biggest difference and
ensure there is no duplication with other organisations. It is, therefore,
reviewing the way it supports the services currently provided by the KTNs.

This
is where you come in – we want to know what organisations you and your business
turn to for advice, knowledge and connections to drive innovation in your
business. We would like to know what you are looking for, what organisations
you are currently engaged with and why. How do you use the new tools that are
available, including the Technology Strategy Board’s own tool _connect?

So if you run or work for a
private business of any size, please help us shape what we can offer to help
your business and take five minutes to fill in the brief survey.

and if you and your members of TIGA were able to respond this would be greatly
appreciated.
