Video Games Day is the BFI Certification Unit’s annual event for the video games sector in the UK. In addition to providing advice and guidance on the games tax relief, sessions will include how to finance your project against games tax relief, presentations from the UK Games Fund, War Child and Creative England (TBC); a session on diverse representation of games characters; discussion on the film/TV/Games Crossover; and lastly Brexit and what it means for the games sector.

There will be opportunities to connect with fellow members of the games sector during a catered lunch and an evening drinks reception. The event features playable demos of some exceptional games being developed in the North of England including several VR titles. Any developers or publishers seeking information about the video games cultural test and tax relief can book a 1-2-1 session with the BFI’s cultural test analysts during the event.
