You will build a strong base in C++ programming with maths and physics, developing skills in 2D and 3D game design and development.  You’ll become proficient using graphics libraries (e.g. OpenGL, DirectX) and game engines (e.g. Unreal, Unity).  And you’ll develop specialist skills in physical computing, virtual reality and artificial intelligence while becoming proficient in a range of relevant programming and scripting languages.

You’ll work independently and in teams with other programmers and game artists on larger game projects, building up a professional portfolio.

We actively encourage students to engage with public competitions and gaming events such as gamejams, and we hold an annual Summer Show where students at all levels have the opportunity to showcase their work to a wider professional audience.
