By November 8, 2010 Press Releases

TIGA, the trade association representing the UK games industry, today announced White Rabbit as its newest member.

White Rabbit offers story design and script writing services to the games industry. Company founders Tom George and Rupert Russell recently finished working as writers and story editors on the forthcoming Ubisoft titles Driver Next Generation and Driver Wii. Between them they have over ten years experience writing and directing for TV, film, radio, online and games.

Rupert Russell explains the company’s vision: “In an increasingly competitive market, we believe that a great story, memorable characters and witty dialogue are what can make your title stand out from the pack. Our mission is to bring the narrative complexity and script-writing excellence of the best film and TV to the gaming world.””

Rupert explains the company’s reasons for joining TIGA:

“White Rabbit is joining TIGA to make contact with forward-thinking game developers throughout the UK, and because we believe that collaboration between talent from different creative industries is the best way to ensure that Britain remains a world-leader in game production and design.”

Dr. Richard Wilson TIGA CEO welcomed the company to TIGA:

“Last year TIGA launched an initiative called ‘Creative Industry Switch’ with the aim of bringing together talented people from across the creative industries to work together and exchange knowledge. White Rabbit is a fantastic example of the kind of company we were hoping to attract through this initiative. We are delighted that White Rabbit has chosen to join TIGA and add to the diverse mix of innovative, gifted companies and individuals we have in the TIGA community.””
