Trade association calls for companies to apply now whilst places remain
TIGA, the trade association representing the UK video game industry is working with UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) to offer UK games businesses up to £1,500 to attend the Nordic Games Conference, which celebrates it’s 10th anniversary this year.
Those firms wishing to apply for a grant are asked to contact Vanessa Joyce at TIGA as soon as possible, with TIGA warning that waiting until after GDC to apply may end in disappointment, given the expected demand.

 joint news flash for all participants;

TIGA CEO, Dr Richard Wilson, commented:
“TIGA is the network for developers and digital publishers and so we are very pleased to be working with UK Trade and Investment to enable these businesses to expand their commercial opportunities via the Tradeshow Access Programme. It is essential to help our export focused UK games businesses make new contacts and pick up valuable development and business expertise by attending top international events like the Nordic Game Conference.
“I expect demand for these grants to be very high indeed, so I urge any interested businesses to get in touch with Vanessa at TIGA as soon as possible or risk missing out on a great opportunity.”
