TIGA welcomes Swan Music as its latest member

By July 3, 2014 Press Releases

TIGA, the network for developers and digital publishers, has today welcomed Swan Music, which makes it easy for developers to license high-quality music, as its latest member.

Swan Music is a specialist music production and licensing company that can deliver everything from sound effects to full scores. The company has one of the largest and most diverse catalogues of original music around, with over 10,000 tracks available in all genres available from only £99, with 100 new titles being added every month.

All of which is available for developers to license with no further royalties due, and complete with open licenses allowing developers to include them in their app or game and all associated marketing. Swan Music’s composers and sound artists are also available to work with developers to produce top quality original audio.

Whether electronic, acoustic, or even full orchestral music, Swan Music has the facilities and expertise to make games sound incredible. Games the company has worked on include BUZZ! the BAFTA award winning and multi-million selling PlayStation 3 game, as well as multiple iOS and Android games including Wingsuit Pro, The Cube, and Renegade Redemption.

The company was founded by Iain Kerr and Jason Shaw, musicians with more than 40 years experience as both live performers and recording artists.

Lee Duffy, co-founder and director, Swan Music, commented: “Swan Music wants to build partnerships with UK games developers. We recognise that the UK is home to some of the best developers in the world, making the best games in the world. Swan Music is joining TIGA to further promote our music production services to the UK community. In return, Swan Music can offer cutting edge custom music production services and help produce the perfect fit for developers looking for something that will really complement their game.”

Dr Richard Wilson, TIGA CEO, added:

“TIGA offers Swan Music a warm welcome as our latest member, it is great to see the breadth of our membership continue to grow with more businesses joining that can offer real value and expertise to UK developers and independent publishers.

“The bar is always being raised in our industry and game audio is no different. For many smaller studios without the in-house expertise, the licensing and composing capabilities of musicians like the Swan Music team could be the difference that takes their game from being good to great.”
