TIGA welcomes Kyttaro Tech as its latest member

By December 13, 2012 Press Releases

TIGA, the tradeassociation representing the games industry, is delighted to announce that
Kyttaro Tech i
s its latest member.

The
mobile games developer and small indie games publisher/developer was founded in
2011 in the UK as a mobile apps developer for financial institutions. Early in 2012 though, Kyttaro Tech created its gaming label
Kyttaro Games and joined the Corallia gaming cluster.

It launched the
Bundle-In-A-Box indie games bundle series, which has already successfully
completed two sales and has already launched its third. The first
series of its in-house developed mobile games is underway, the first of which
is DroidScape: Basilica for iOS.

A new round of Bundle-In-A-Box and the Indie
Developers’ Grant have been released. It is
also preparing a series of mobile games that will be very art-driven and
provide a means for upcoming contemporary artists to show off their work.

Konstantinos Dimopoulos, a founder of Kyttaro Tech, said:
“Kyttaro Tech
is proud to be joining TIGA in an effort to, hopefully, further
strengthen and enrich the UK gaming industry and in order to cooperate with
some of the best and most innovative indie developers and publishers in the
world”.

“Kyttaro Tech, an indie mobile game developer
and publisher of the Bundle In A Box bundle, can provide advice on game design
issues, help smaller developers via its Indie Game Fund and of course consult
on technical issues, game writing and indie PR. This partnership underscores
our belief in the vibrancy, quality and importance of the UK gaming industry
both as a core market and as one of the hearts of quality gaming worldwide.”

He said the company aimed to receive valuable PR advice, collaborate
with other developers and publishers in order to provide the best and most
successful games possible, and to exchange ideas and tech solutions.

Dr Richard Wilson, CEO of TIGA, said:
“Kyttaro Tech is a highly innovative company
which understands the importance of independent games development and is
willing to back such projects. The company is enthusiastic and willing to work
with other developers in the UK and we are excited to have them on board.”
