By October 25, 2012 Press Releases

TIGA, the trade association representing the UK gamesindustry, has welcomed Foof Productions as its latest member.

Foof is a small, bespoke and high-functioning studio which
began in 2007. Among its games are Gladiator
Kricket which it made in partnership with Durham County Cricket Club. The company has also worked with Thumbstar to distribute its
game Animentals in the Far East.

Currently, the company is developing a piece of software
with artist Peter McAdam called iCoda. It displays pictures and music together
in an original way. Foof Productions expects it to be a massive hit.

Co-founder John Carnell said:
“Apart from Andy Banks, Foof's fellow co-founder,
aiming to annex Sunderland to make it part of a greater Newcastle, we're proud
northerners creating great games and we're glad to be members of TIGA.”

Dr Richard Wilson, CEO of TIGA, said:
“TIGA admires Foof Productions’ ambitions! Foof's
approach to videogame development is refreshing and fun and I can imagine they
will be very popular with the rest of the TIGA network. I’m delighted to
welcome them to TIGA.”
