TIGA RECOGNISED AS AN INVESTOR IN PEOPLE

TIGA, the network for games developers and digital publishers and the trade association representing the UK video games industry has been awarded the Investors in People Bronze Standard, demonstrating their commitment to realising the potential of their people.

TIGA’s core purpose is to strengthen the games development and digital publishing sector. Since its inception in 2001 TIGA has consistently championed the interests of games developers.

Today, TIGA operates as a virtual company with highly skilled remote workers and since 2010 has won 24 business awards and commendations, an achievement which reflects TIGA’s drive for improvement and to meet best practice. TIGA campaigns to advance the video games sector in the corridors of power, raise the profile of the industry in the media and to help its members commercially through the provision of best practice information and advice, networking events and financial benefits.

TIGA has worked with governments, parliaments and policy makers to promote the growth of the video games industry through the adoption of policies including: video Games Tax Relief, improved R&D Tax Credits, a Prototype Fund and the maintenance of the Skills Investment Fund.
