TIGA’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurship was clearly demonstrated when sponsoring The TIGA Prize for Entrepreneurship at the University of Portsmouth. This award recognises the entrepreneurial mindset of the winner, who this year is Louis Mannevy, graduating from BSc (Hons) Computer Games Enterprise. He gets a TIGA Gold Pass that gives him free entry to TIGA seminars and workshops for a year. Course Leader Dr Mark Eyles said: “Louis has not only shown entrepreneurial flair, in particular during his placement year, when he was part of a team of students running their own company, but also has been exemplary in supporting his fellow students.” TIGA CEO Dr Richard Wilson said: “TIGA is proud to be encouraging new businesses and the UK’s next generation of games professionals. I look forward to seeing Louis at TIGA events this year.”
