Dr Richard Wilson, CEO, TIGA, comments:

“As the network for developers run by developers, TIGA appreciates the challenges facing those trying to run a games business in the UK today. 80 per cent of our board is made up of developers, some of whom run two person studios, while others run businesses with 400 people or more.

“This experience means TIGA is focused on helping developers tackle some of the most important and difficult issues they face today, of which access to funding is one of the most significant. I would like to thank Mercia Fund Management for its support and hope as many developers as possible can come along to take part and ultimately help us build a stronger UK games industry.”
