TIGA at Develop Conference

TIGA, the trade association representing the UK’s games industry, is offering small businesses attending the Develop Conference in Brighton (June 14-16) a special ten per cent discount if they become a TIGA member in the month of July 2009.

The special offer is available to developers and affiliate industries with less than nine staff members who wish to join TIGA as a Copper or Bronze member.

In addition to the special Develop offer for small businesses TIGA will also be hosting a number of events during the Develop Conference.

Richard Wilson, TIGA CEO, will be giving the keynote speech at the Develop Conference’s Games EDU (Tuesday July 14, 2009 at 09:45-10:15am). The session will look at education and skills challenges facing the games industry and discuss how TIGA is taking a structured approach to helping development studios, universities and other organisations achieve strong links through the Play Together program.

Finally, TIGA is hosting a breakfast meeting (Wednesday July 15, 2009 at 08:30-09:30am) as part of the main Develop Conference. The theme of the event is “Innovating In A Recession”” and includes talks from Gina Fegan, CEO of SEMN, Jonathan Sapsed, Brighton University, John Cass, Imperial University (CITIN), and Richard Wilson.
