TIGA Announces Partnership with Chartboost that Brings UK Mobile Gamers Closer Together

By July 5, 2013 Press Releases

TIGA, the trade association representing the UK games industry, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Chartboost, the leading technology platform for mobile games.   TIGA is creating a Chartboost Group that will enable TIGA developers to more easily facilitate deals with each other using Chartboost’s Direct Deals platform.

Dr Richard Wilson, TIGA CEO, said:

“TIGA is delighted to announce our new partnership with Chartboost, and we would like to encourage our wide range of members to take advantage of the excellent opportunities and services that Chartboost can offer their games.

“TIGA brings together UK game developers with common interests and goals.  Having our own Group on the Chartboost platform will make it far easier to work together and facilitate the promotional deals that are so beneficial to our developers.”

Oli Christie, TIGA board member and CEO of Neon Play, said:

“Neon Play has used the Direct Deals Marketplace successfully in the past to connect with our highest performing partners.  With Groups, we are really excited about the ability to forge relationships with new developers to open up additional opportunities.”

Ilja Goossens, Director of European Operations, Chartboost, said:

“We’re excited to have TIGA as one of the early adopters of Groups for Direct Deals.  We already work with many of their members today, and the creation of the TIGA group will improve their ability to discover new opportunities with fellow UK developers.”

Direct Deals is the industry’s only option for developers to buy and sell traffic directly with other developers without paying fees.  Groups for Direct Deals enable mobile game developers to create their own networks, making it easier to find partners and run campaigns with each other.

Chartboost is a mobile game discovery and monetization platform and will become, as a result of this partnership, more accessible to TIGA members.  Chartboost enables developers to cross promote their own titles, buy and sell traffic directly with other developers, or run campaigns across the entire network of 16,000 games.
