TIGA, the network for video games developers and digital publishers, has today announced that the voting for the prestigious Game Of The Year Award 2015 is open. Game Of The Year is part of the TIGA Awards which will be presented on 12th November at LSO St Luke’s, London.

The unique judging structure of the TIGA Awards combines the expertise of a credible judging panel with the voice of the games industry. The Game Of The Year Award is selected entirely by games industry voters making it ‘the people’s choice’ and always the highlight of the awards evening.

CEO of TIGA, Dr Richard Wilson said: “The TIGA ‘Game Of The Year Award’ is a very special accolade. To achieve success in this category a game has to have significant popular support and demonstrate creativity, quality and technical excellence. Good luck to all the finalists – and start voting!”

Last year’s winner Minecraft Console Edition by 4J Studios was part of a spread of entries which saw over 12,000 unique votes cast. This year has seen a record number of entries with 115 games eligible for the title of Game Of The Year 2015.
